Brazilian singer Elba Ramalho is still going strong and maybe sounding better than ever, partly due to a matured quality in her vocals which makes things sometimes sound deeper than in the early years! The style here is a mix of older forro elements with more contemporary touches accordion a bit in the background on more numbers, surrounded by electric elements that emphasize some of the more soulful currents in the music while the lady herself stands strongly in the spotlight.
