Antwerp-based and Kempen-raised, The Yummy Mouths have been ripening for some years as one of Belgian’s underground’s sweetest fruits. After having released their debut EP ‘UGH!’ (2021), they gained national interest with their catchy guitars and hard-hitting drums surrounding damn sticky refrains. Next up for The Mouths: making up their minds, broadening their sounds and daring to think how deep they can dig in synths, beats and drum computers, preparing themselves for the a-pop-calypse.

Since 2019, The Yummy Mouths have been winning over souls with their garage punk as raging as joyous, collecting support slots at Ancienne Belgique, welcomed warmly at We Are Open and Left of The Dial and played on Studio Brussel and Willy.
Surprisingly, they turned everything upside down, challenging themselves in the studio. Their synth-loaded debut ‘Apopcalypse Park’ is a dystopic fable about the roller coaster that adult life is, each song imagining an even more dark and harsh universe than the previous, and how the world - rapidly warming, constantly fighting and overtly greedy - has become a merry-go-round from which there is no escape.
Breaking their own grounds, The Yummy Mouths has mutated from a straight-to-the-riff combo to a gutsy collage punk act, for fans of Courting, Yard Act and Underscores.
Backed by producer Pieter-Jan Decraene (Jack Vamp, Isaac Roux, Sam de Nef) and booker Live Nation, and with a little help from their friends STEVE and Bobbi Lu, The Yummy Mouths are ready to dive deep into Apopcalypse Park, boldy going where they’ve never went before.
