Na een eerste EP , waarmee Ramkot met hun single 'Red' zich wist te kronen tot 'winnaar van De Ni euwe Lichting 2021 van Studio Brussel', is het Gentse trio klaar voor een nieuwe rammer. Met 'What Exactly Are You Looking For' dropt Ramkot op 5 november hun n ieuwe EP!

De band rond de broers Tim en Tom Leyman en Hannes Cuyvers bewees het afgelopen jaar klaar te zijn voor het grotere werk. Met hun passage i n 2021 op Crammerock, Lokerse Feesten, Rock Ternat en tal van andere shows in Be lgië en Nederland maakt Ramkot hun ramrock-reputatie ook live waar.

O p de reeds uitgebrachte singles 'Am I Alright Now' en 'Fever' klinkt de band ste viger en dansbaarder dan ooit en wisten ze de nodige airplay te versieren op Stu dio Brussel, Willy, NPO 3FM en KINK.

'What Exactly Are You Looking Fo r' luidt als een mengeling van verschaald bier, sigaretten en zweet (vooral veel zweet) met knipoogjes naar Millionaire, Soulwax, STAKE en De Staat, die toch he lemaal als zichzelf klinkt. Naar aanloop van de release-shows op 1 en 2 december in de Vooruit (Gent) tourt de band in 2021 nog gretig door Nederland en België.

After Ramkot's single 'Red' from their fir st EP earned them the De Nieuwe Lichting 2021 award from Studio Brussel, the tri o from Ghent is ready for a new smash. Ramkot's new EP 'What Exactly Are You Loo king For' drops on November 5!

The band, made up of brothers Tim and Tom Leyman along with Hannes Cuyvers, proved over the last year that they were r eady for bigger and better things. With 2021 appearances at Crammerock, Lokerse Feesten, Rock Ternat and many other shows in Belgium and the Netherlands, Ramkot firmly established their "ramrock" reputation in live settings.

On t he already released singles 'Am I Alright Now' and 'Fever' the band sounds stron ger and more danceable than ever, luring essential airplay for them on Studio Br ussel, Willy, NPO 3FM and KINK.

'What Exactly Are You Looking For' re minds you of a mixture of stale beer, cigarettes and sweat (really, a lot of swe at), with nods to Millionaire, Soulwax, STAKE and De Staat, who sound just like the name implies. In the run-up to the release shows on December 1 and 2 at Voor uit (in Ghent) the band will be eagerly touring throughout the Netherlands and B elgium.

Après un premier EP, dont le single 'Red' lui a valu de remporter le concours 'De Nieuwe Lichting 2021' de Studio Brussel, le trio ganto is Ramkot est prêt pour un nouveau round. Le 5 novembre, Ramkot nous revient ave c un nouvel EP, 'What Exactly Are You Looking For'.

L'année dernière, le groupe formé par les frères Tim et Tom Leyman et Hannes Cuyvers a montré qu' il était prêt à passer à la vitesse supérieure. En effet, lors de son passage en 2021 au Crammerock, aux Lokerse Feesten, au Rock Ternat et sur de nombreux autr es événements en Belgique et aux Pays-Bas, Ramkot a fait largement honneur à sa réputation ramrock en live.

Sur les singles déjà sortis 'Am I Alright Now' et 'Fever', le groupe sonne plus énergique et plus entraînant que jamais e t a conquis les ondes de Studio Brussel, Willy, NPO 3FM et KINK.

'Wha t Exactly Are You Looking For' évoque un mélange de bière éventée, de cigarette et de sueur (beaucoup de sueur) qui n'est pas sans rappeler par certains aspects Millionaire, Soulwax, STAKE et De Staat, mais avec une touche à nulle autre par eille. En préambule aux concerts de lancement le 1er et 2 décembre au Vooruit (G and), le groupe poursuivra sa tournée 2021 un peu partout aux Pays-Bas et en Bel gique.
