wOW is the initial thought upon hearing Le Noir and Meriton's debut effort for DJ Hell's Internatio nal Deejay Gigolo imprint.

The EP's title track 'Tripsoul' is create d on the legacy and energy of Techno. Heavy, heavy analogue synths attack from t he start and here the layers just keep building - stabs, pads, bass and a melodi c string arrangement designed purely to heighten your senses. Epic and intense.

'Legend' again lets the synths do the talking as they stab through t he kick from the moment the beat arrives. The groove drops in from 1.35 and from here your layers begin.

Le Noir & Meriton are friends since ten yea rs. Both well-known producers and DJs in their native Switzerland, recent times have seen their talents flow to the world outside. Le Noir released his first so lo track 'Eleny' on UK imprint Fling in 2007, earning a remix from Radio Slave & Luke Dzierzek and DJ support from Sasha, Loco Dice, John Digweed, Pete Tong, Ca rl Craig, Laurent Garnier and many more.

From here, the two began pr oducing together, with 'Tripsoul / Legends' being their first joint effort and f inding a perfect home with Gigolo. Watch them, now.
