We fell in love with Norwegian Atell a after hearing just a few notes. With her enchanting voice, Kristiane lures you into a dreamlike state and lets you experience the seductive sound of Atella's electronic pop music. 'The Monster' is their impressive first output and leaves us hungry for more.

London based electronic soul music duo Stubborn H eart, signed to One Little Indian, seemed perfect to add breaks and bass to 'The Monster'. We are big fans of their debut album (which was crowned Album Of The Year at Gilles Peterson's Worldwide Awards 2013), imagine how excited we were ab out their contribution.

Xinobi, who runs the Discotexas label with Mo ullinex, recently did remarkable remixes for Agnes Obel and John Grant. His tast e in music is rather eclectic, as are his productions. He strips Atella's origin al to its core, leaving only the vocals behind. His rework is built around an up lifting piano lick and a ridiculously funky bassline. From Portugal with love. < br>
The Monster is taken from 'The Blue Collection', the second installmen t in a new compilation series on Eskimo based around colours. It's the follow-up to last year's lauded 'The Pink Collection'.
