Woolvs is t he Brussels laidback pop project around singer-guitarist Willem Malfliet, accomp anied by Casper Van De Velde (Schntzl, Bombataz) on drums, Vitja Pauwels (Bombat az, Naima Joris, Lara Rosseel) on guitar, Soet Kempeneer (Hendrik Lasure) on key s and Ruben De Maesschalk (Bombataz) on bass. Musically best described as the il legitimate child of HOMESHAKE, Connan Mockasin, L.A Priest and Robbing Millions.

After Willem discovered his love for songwriting back in 2016, he so ught musicians to bring his songs to life. He didn't hesitate for a second to br ing in his former fellow students and close friends, which brought Woolvs to lif e. All songs originate as sound concepts and lyrics in Willem's head, after whic h they are collectively developed into organic songs resulting in their typical Woolvs sound. Light, dark, explosive, groovy or open, but always unmistakably th emselves. After years of experimenting with studio technology and electronics, t he realization grew that the simplest way also turns out to be the most powerful way: five friends playing together. Spontaneity and trust are therefore never f ar away.

After the release of their debut "Evening Planet" in 2021, i t was time to expand their musical universe. Their brand new album "Soft & Slow" will be out on October 13th on On The Level.
