Volume One, released last year, was a compilation of music that gave a sonic window into the venue and it's surrounding views and atmosphere. For 2017 Alex & Kate Rocks have worked along side chill-out legend Afterlife to build on the success of Vol. 1 with a new set of atmospheric gems. The selection opens with the chuggy, acoustic bliss of Micko Rocheâ„¢s Bleu and then immediately the tempo drops for a vocal treat from Neve with the track 'Sun Ray'. Next Ambala aka Phil Mison delivers a more percussive sound this time with an African twist. Our curator steps up with 'On Being' before making way for DJ Pippiâ„¢s reggae tinged 'Mr Pâ„¢. DF Tram, Mashti and Kid Stone keep things cool before Mike Boormanâ„¢s ËœConsequencesâ„¢ switches things up. The Bongo Entp's cover of Henri Manciniâ„¢s Lujon is included with Green Carrot delivering a remix thatâ„¢s strong on mid tempo balearic shuffles, leaving the way clear for No Logo and another appearance from DJ Pippi this time with the opening party favourite Dangerous, before the album closes with ËœDollybirdâ„¢ from Bent producer Simon Mills.
