`Seventh Seal’ – originally released on the Mystic Red Corporation label in 1988 - was the blueprint for what would become the UK Dub / Roots scene, inspiring many others make bass-heavy dub music with a lean towards Jah Shaka sound system and the likes of Augustus Pablo and King Tubby.
'Sound Iration' were made up of Scruff Gilder and Nick Manasseh who would go on to create the classic `Sound Iration In Dub’ album a year later. Still sounding fresh, this mid-paced stepper (mostly instrumental, apart from an intro from Tena Stelin) features a hypnotic repetitive rhythm features melodica and hints of flute wafting in and out of the mix of the three cuts.
