TRACKLIST LP Side A) Blue Arctic Danube (10pm Session- Budapest) Side B) Gladiatonial Dragon (9.35 pm Sessions -Hong Kong) OVERVIEW In the imperial years of the 1970s, Tangerine Dreamâ„¢s live concerts were an electronic exploration, improvised and different every night, with little or no relationship to their smash hit albums, which were similarly esoteric. As the 1980s dawned, their recorded work contained more recognisable themes and they scored some of the biggest films of the decade (Risky Business, Firestarter, Near Dark, Thief, Sorcerer) and the live show became more regimented. Now, they are returning in part to those pioneering days, and every show includes a half-hour section of improvisation, different every night, with an ecstatic reaction from fans. The best improvisations are being released as Sessions, and Invisible Hands Music is proud to bring the first one out on vinyl, with side one recorded live in Budapest and side two in Hong Kong. An important band at the peak of their powers, a treat for fans of electronic music. Tangerine Dream is playing at Dekmantel festival Amsterdam this year
