INFO Northern Norwegian duo Konradsen have built a critically acclaimed catalogue through an LP + an EP on US indie tastemaker label Cascine and an EP on the impeccable imprint Ulyssa (run by Jagjaguwar Creative Director Eric Deines). They now return announcing their anticipated 2nd LP šMichael™s Book on Bears› due out March 8th 2024. After moving back to their respective small villages north of the 69th altitude on the northern Norwegian coast their music takes on new depths. The record is inspired by and for the community that they left as teenagers and that they™ve come to reintegrate themselves into in adulthood. One of a kind characters in a one of a kind place where reindeer hearing Native people live alongside fisherman. Where people have thick accents and an endless well of stories. Musically, they are at their most accomplished in themes of raising families, returning to your rural roots and grappling with the expectations vs. realities of life. Lead single Out in the Backyard is about returning to a place you thoughts you'd left forever to build a new life. This song is about the process of moving and building something new in a place that you thought you™d left behind. Specifically, moving back to the village you had left for good, and the tingling feeling of having to build something new among old memories.
