Environ boss Morgan Geist returns to his love for Detroit techno, Chicago tracks and generall y exceptional dancefloor music with the second installment in his series of inst rumental EPs: Megaprojects Two.



In his own words:

"Megaprojects are by definition large-scale, high-tech and cost billions of dollars, whereas this is a collection of low-tech tracks made with c heap little drum machines and rejected old synths. I composed and mixed to the b est of my ability and with hope they'll feel more 'mega' than they actually are. Of course, I've been inspired and fascinated by actual megaprojects since I was a child: imposing, surreal engineering and architecture like giant hydroelectri c dams, soaring bridges and exposed-concrete government buildings. This release includes homages to the incredible Manic 5 dam in Quebec as well as the demolish ed Orange Country Government Center (designed by Paul Rudolph) in upstate New Yo rk."
