Phil Kieran has been in the upper echelons of the electronic music game for more than a decade, known for rocking clubs and releasing a killer twelve's. Cutting his teeth at the leg endary acid house club Shine in Belfast, Phil's impeccable DJ reputation has won him top 20 placing's in DJ magazine's global 100 DJs poll. With over 100 dance- floor releases to his name on quality labels like Cocoon, Skint, Soma and NovaMu te and his own imprint Phil Kieran Recordings, as well contributing to the sound track for the Steven Soderbergh film 'The Girlfriend Experience,' with fellow Ir ish compatriot David Holmes, it is fair to say that Phil Kieran is an establishe d and respected producer.

It is a great pleasure for Gigolo Records to release two more Killer Cuts from Phil Kieran and welcome him to our roster o f artists. On the A-side we have 'Love Wish' sounding like a lost techno lament to an erstwhile sound that could only come from a producer with Experience. Neve r showy, the track builds carefully introducing strings at the final pay-off. On the b-side we have the amazing 'Odd Ball,' again a master-class in reserved arr angements that hold the dance-floor solidly, delivering subtle, yet powerful, pa y-offs at every turn. As the strings lead us into the inevitable breakdown the a nticipation will make the heart beat like a f****d clock; a sentiment echoed in the rhythmic drop. Truly mind-affirming techno for the body!
