Always with a big pop appeal and a good sense of irony. The guys invented a new way of using languages: šEsperantology›: a combination of English, Dutch, German, French and fantasy words. Next to the 10-track album Gomma will release a limited 5-track album sampler (including a special limited Parra poster) on 12› vinyl! LE LE is the band of PARRA. In his šreal life› Parra is currently on of the most talked-about illustration artists in the alternative art world... Less know is the fact that he has been doing music for his whole life. With his band LE LE he had one big proper release in Benelux: Skinny Jeans„an ironic joke about„guess you know about what. Even if the songs was meant as a joke and completed super fast the song entered in the Dutch national charts in the top 30. Skinny Jeans is on the album as well as the other two prealbum singles Disco Monster and Breakfast. Both songs have been getting euphoric feedback. Heavy talks on the blogs and full-on DJ support from DJ Mehdi, Headman, Erol and many others. Inspired by Nu-Wave Disco, Italo Disco, Pop clichés and 60s Glamour magazines: LE LE is a unique force. The music, the vocals, the sense of humour, the ironic take on current mainstream glam pop, the art backround and their attitude: šA lot of songs are inspired by the rich lifestylepeople with a lot of gold on, no taste but lots of money „ we our self like to drink good wine and look at pictures of Brigitte Bardot so we naturally wanted a French name sounding name for the band„› The music of LE LE is a straightforward progression for the current disco/house scene because they bring back the techno and pop into dance music, but with an unique approach. Also, LE LE is something like an all star band: Besides Parra there are Serge Fabergé who used to be in the Dutch rap-electro crew DJVT their first single went to Number 1 in Holland and Belgium. The third member Rimer London has been part of the Electro Duo Comtron who had been supporting Kraftwerk, Faithless and The Scissor Sisters.
