Contemporaneous with the Collapse Of The Wave Function series on Rephlex, Kiss Goodbye is a killer full-length, of Minneapolis Funk and Freestyle, that slipped under the radar for many due to it's limited CD-only release. Regardless, it is DMX Krew in his absolute finest form in songwriting and richness of production. It's a guaranteed anti-depressant and includes timeless moments from an ode to a more mature lady in "D.I.V.O.R.C.E.E." to a rap about a cheating ex-girlfriend in "Who's That Guy?". Full of classic quotables combined with dance-inducing basslines.
The vinyl was cut from the original masters by Noel Summerville whose CV includes too many classics to mention, from Newcleus and Hashim to Ohio Players and Rick Astley! The sleeve has received redesign treatment by the Organic Analogue co-founder Benedetta Sodini.
