TRACK LIST: SIDE A 1. 2. 3. 4. SIDE B 5. 6. 7. OVERVIEW: Most European music lovers are familiar with the indie rock phenomenon Kaizers Orchestra. During their active years, their frontman Janove was responsible for writing, arranging and producing all of their songs and albums. Over the last ten years, Janove has done the same for his own music, and has built a substantial career as a solo artist in two unique manifestations. Not unlike Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds, Janove has two different versions of his music and performances. One with his frenetic, alternative rock band, and the other as a stripped down solo artist supported only by his piano. He has produced, released, and toured three albums with his new band in Norway, and has done the same with three more mellow, heartfelt and personal solo albums over the last six years. As part of a highly anticipated reunion, over the next few years Janove will dedicate his time and focus to his old band Kaizers Orchestra, part of which focuses around a massive tour in both Norway and much of the EU. Janove will likely continue his solo career at a later stage, continuing to tour alone in smaller theaters all over Europe, performing songs from his full catalogue for loyal fans of both Janove and Kaizers Orchestra. The presence of his full catalogue of solo albums, alongside the Kaizer catalogue in record stores across the EU, together with the Kaizer comeback tours, lays an even stronger foundation for Janove to continue his solo career in the future. Allowing him to perform his best songs from his complete catalogue, both on album and on tour, when that time comes.
