TRACKLIST A1. Rescue A2. 1992 (Heaven Mix) B1. From Nowhere With Love B2. Grid One INFO (25th Anniversary Edition) Originally released on F Communications 1997 Laurent Collat is not a newcomer to the French electronic scene. It was in 1988, with the discovery of New Order, that the desire to compose his own songs arose. His techno-pop compositions drift gently towards a house and techno sound, with the arrival of the baggy movement from Manchester and the acid-house wave. In 1992, a pivotal year if ever there was one, pop had been ousted in favour of technology. Between ˜92 and ˜95, Laurent worked in various horizons, but always with one goal: to make people dance and move. Laurent Collat joined F Communications in 1996. On his first two EPs released in ˜96 and ˜97, "From Nowhere With Love" and Snapshots, Elegia developed a melodic and melancholic house. A studio man, he seeks to find THE voice that would bring emotion and warmth to the compositions of a future album
