Mixtape maestro DJ Yoda steps up to the (dub)plate for FABRICLIVE 39, a fun-filled party soundtrack that thumps and bumps with the most unexpected - bringing everything into the mix, from hip hop to drum n bass to to dubstep to Baltimore House to Minnie Ripperton. DJ Yoda has toured all over the world - from Europe to the USA to Asia to Australia, and everywhere inbetween, with some of music's most important heavyweights. He's shared the bill with legends as varied as De La Soul, Gang Starr, Goldie, Roni Size, Pete Tong and the Scratch Perverts. DJ Yoda has won a variety of titles from the press worldwide, including DMC DJ of the Year award in the Scratch DJ category (2001), and nominated by Q magazine as one of the "Ten DJs To See Before You Die." Yoda's mixtapes, including his phenomenal "How To Cut And Paste" series, have made him something of a legend: incorporating films and samples into classic tunes, Yoda has single-handedly put a sense of humour back into hip hop. Beyond his globe-encompassing DJ schedule, Yoda also trots the club circuit with a variety of themed audio visual shows, a collage of his favourite pop, hip-hop and movie moments.
