Raw Sketches INFO What happens if you have one too many drinks? Well, big chance you™ll end up at De Ambassade, as Jamie Foxx once sang. After Xosar kicked things off with Retreat 2 Rapture, the second instalment on the ensemble imprint offers four tracks from different corners. The EP starts off with Belgian ambassadors Gratts and Xan Xoda under their cheeky ˜De Ambassade™ guise. The duo treat us to some delicious šgebakken lucht›, a famous Belgian expression that you™ll just have to look up yourself. Next up, we are honoured to introduce you to Raw Sketches a.k.a. Eklektiker, one of Belgium™s finest DJs and a resident of the ensemble nights. Together with another friend of the house, Innershades, this living vinyl encyclopaedia just kicked off their new label Roze Baletten with a first release featuring fellow Belgian Locked Groove. Raw Sketches' track ˜Intiem™ shows his love for analogue workouts, pushing all the right buttons. The EP continues with our favourite Australian, and poster boy of house music, Ben Sun, who shows off a fresh perspective on flavour and arrangement for ˜Gebakken Lucht™. šIf it ain™t broken, don™t fix it!›, says Ben. And who are we to disagree? Finally, our good friends from London, Sisterhood, round off the package with a rework that already has over 7000 Soundcloud listens under its belt and has been featured to acclaim on the London nightclub Fabric's official blog. The duo, consisting of Harry Benson and John Malcolm Moore, first gained attention by launching the Tief imprint with a solid EP that showed plenty of promise, and now the lads have turned Raw Sketches' intimate (˜Intiem™, get it?) original into a trip into space, where bass is the place!
