Bloggers/promoters Fluokids take it to another level and create Fool House. This is not only the blog Fluokids becoming the label Fool House, but rather the taste-making process that made the blog so successful taken one step further, from sharing with our readers tracks that made us lovestruck to actually invent and make those records exist, in a neverending quest of new musical emotions. Fool House has chosen vinyl as a collectable object, rare (limited editions of 500 copies) and significant allowing to extract itself from the quantitative avalanches of the Internet, in order to target quality and durability. Fool House doesn't sign artists : it is a rather a process of a precise selection of tracks, in order to help little known artists to exist materially, while creating a beautiful catalogue, a collection. Fool House's goal is therefore to produce objects that are fantasies, aurally and visually whimsical, of which the design will be assured by David Lamothe and picture covers shot by Gala Collette. The first of the series is the work of young Parisian prodigy Mondkopf (known for his acclaimed remixes for Grand National, The Teenagers, Johnny Cash). His EP « (Declaration of) Principles » mixes futuristic techno in Christmas, Sainte (playlisted by Pedro Winter) and the amoral poem Ave Maria, accompanied by an odyssey-remix by I :Cube. To be continued on Fool House : 33hz' synth-rock hits « I Feel Alive » and « Sentinel of Love », dreamy electro-pop from the Spanish band Delorean, naive ravey tunes from Gentlemen Drivers„ (The common ground between those projects ? a passion of every instant, and a bit of obsession which can be also be found in the micro yet global community that the label's message board (www.foolhouse.fr) attracts.) FEEDBACK "Mondkopf creates the biggest kicks since Modeselektor" (9/10 - Trax) "Somewhere between Vitalic's futurism and Kevin Shields' urban landscapes" (Must-have - Chronicart) "Mondkopf gives electronic music his very own, classy and unforgettable trademark" (Standard magazine) "Definitely one to follow" Pedro Winter A1 - Christmas A2 - Sainte B1 - Ave Maria live edit B2 - Ave Maria (I:Cube remix)
