'Desierto', musicalized by Rebolledo and Daniel Maloso, is an adventurous trip into the desert full of hypnotic discobeats, furious guitarchords and rattlesnake shakers. A Cómeme adventure where the traces of Morricone, Argento, Patrick Cowley, Kenneth Anger and the tipical caveman rhythms of Rebolledo and Daniel Maloso melt under the relentless desert sun into an epic adventure of 2010 outdoor dance psychedelia... 'Colt Seavers' introduces us into the mood of this EP, out there in the desert, off the radar, where single details seem to grow and change shape under the sun, psychedelia and extasy on top of a stomping Rebolledo-Maloso Discorhythm. "Lorolady" is a banging dancefloor track with no mids, just an earthquakelike sequencer bassline and the high frequencies of some relentlessly shaken shakers on top! A voice sings in a Rock'n'roll choir mood: "Yo soy un Loro Lady!" A parrot celeberates its coming out as the leatherdressed warriors arrive at the oasis... "Morgan" is an interlude between those adventures, the menacing male Morricone like choirs, on top of a spooky desertwind and the sound of riding horses... "Fresh" is a contagious ride on downstripped funk and electric guitars, Rebolledo and Maloso, telling people witrh a depressed look they should cheer up and stay "fresh!" "De cierto desierto" after all this desert disco frenzy we meet Rebolledo and Maloso at the last stage of their adventures: a high noon duel featuring the spaced out vocals of both, a guitardriven western dance anthem, a downtempo northern mexican house music desert track.
