Kicking things off we have Nikola Gala with the highly infectious I Get U. Nikola has had a string of big releases on labels such as Ibadan, Plastic City and his own Escada Music and when we first heard the demo and Jimpster started playing it out we thought itâ„¢d be a great addition to the compilation. Highly minimal in approach but not in style, this track is loaded with a simple intensity that makes a big impact on the dancefloor. Next up we have Philippâ„¢s Federation - another demo we received that jumped out a mile from the 1000 or so others we get every day. Dark, brooding, jazz inspired techno gets halfway there but better to unleash it on an unsuspecting dancefloor through a large soundsystem to realize itâ„¢s full potential and hear it in its full magisterial beauty. Flipping over we have a track from someone we know absolutely nothing about apart from that he goes by the name of Mr. Morning and he hails from America. What we do know is that his track Slave brilliant fusion of afro-edged beats and deep, spaced out keys sounds fresh as a daisy and should create some serious interest in this man of mystery if thereâ„¢s any justice. Closing the show we have the man Vincenzo joining forces with Elmar Schubert for a slo-mo Balearic beauty entitled Wanna Love You.
