Ilya Santana originates from the Canary Islands ( Spain). He started to discover his passion for music 20 years ago, while his fat her was listening to Alan Parson, Vangelis and Giorgio Moroder amongst others. 1 5 years ago he started DJ'ing around all the clubs in Gran Canaria. Not long aft er that he started producing his own stuff. His first release was on Balihu, Dan iel Wang's label. In the meantime he also released records on Tirk, Permanent Va cation and Gomma, and remixed artists like Human League, The Phenomenal Handclap Band, Lindstrom... Now we are proud to announce Ilya's first release on Eskimo, Burning Jupiter. It's the predecessor to his artist album coming up later in 20 10 and showcases perfectly exactly why we wanted him so much to join the Eskimo family.
