Balance Presents Electric 05 is a mix that moves through the many shades of house and techno, from deep and warm to dark and rolling, but never once takes itself too seriously  it is called šdance music› after all. Emerson™s mix is not just a snap-shot of where he is at in 2009, it™s a representation of Emerson Todd™s past, present and future, as reflected in the thoughtful programming and tight mixing that can only be achieved with years of experience. Keeping in line with previous compilers, the EQ team has decided to employ an unsung hero of the scene with years of experience and an incredible understanding of production techniques; a New Zealand ex-pat who was (is) absolutely adored on the dance floors in his adopted home town of Sydney before his move across the ocean to the UK. From releasing singles on respected labels like Trapez, Get Physical, Cocoon, Anabatic and Dirty Bird to working as an audio engineer for The Presets, Emerson™s output of late has been prolific.
