'Aurora' hits with chunky drum ar rangement that's reminiscent of Deep Dish at the height of their powers; deep, d riving and wide enough to carry the weight of the pristine synths, humanised rhy thmic textures and melodic weaves, this keeps building until the very end of its epic tenure. Beautiful.
'Airborne', meanwhile, is the full trip: alm ost 10 minutes of locked-in beauty as we glide further and further into a state of unblinkered positivity. Building us up with precision tension, Guy doesn't ev en introduce the life-affirming riff until 4.30 but by jove you know about it wh en he does. Immaculate elevation that seems to come from nowhere; timeless emoti onally rich techno like this is universal. Reach for the skies...
