INFO
Having r ecently completed a live tour across Europe, Scott Gilmore returns to Internatio nal Feel with Another Day. Following on from his "mini-masterpiece" last year, t he LA musician confidently delivers four new records.

The uplifting E lectric Gestures is the first of the four dreamy soundscapes. Setting the tone, it drifts through with tight yet subtle percussion. A melancholic twist ensues w ith the melodic string number Things Forgotten. Next up, Lately follows suit ble nding emotive keys with thoughtful strings, which lead onto the hopeful and hypn otic chords of Another Day.

"Before recording the songs for 'Another Day' I had never worked on music with the knowledge that it would be released. B oth 'Volume 01' and 'Subtle Vertigo' were made in a state of aloneness, and ther e is a comfort in that state of mind because it is easier to work freely without any inhibitions. Making music that I knew would be heard by others was a proces s of putting that out of my mind, and a process of
remembering that the mos t important part of creating music is to explore." - Scott Gilmore

Si tting comfortably in Mark Barrott's International Feel, Gilmore studied the guit ar for eighteen years and his compositions demonstrate a real master at work. Co mbining elements of 70's underground psychedelia, kosmische, and library music h is music "has the distinct air of something you might find in a dusty corner of someone's garage" (Pitchfork).
